Maison Martin Margiela Untitled | Review

Maison Martin Margiela's flagship fragrance - the one that launched them all -  is called 'Untitled' ($105 for 1.7 oz. | Barneys & Saks) in a conscious effort not to categorize or assign meaning, while instead giving the wearer a blank canvas from which to experience the scent for herself, devoid of expectations or preconceived notions, as she embarks upon her distinct olfactory journey.

Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk | Review

Maison Margiela's Replica Beach Walk ($25 for 0.34 oz. $125 for 3.4 oz.) fragrance immediately captured me when I first tried it after receiving a sample of it in a Sephora order. I eventually purchased a rollerball size of the fragrance as well as the candle ($60 for 5.82 oz.; Sephora, Nordstrom)I was taken aback by how well Beach Walk truly actually captured the scent memory of a day at the beach...to me, Beach Walk smells like an irresistible blend of skin that's been slathered in coconut scented sunscreen or suntan lotion.

Maison Margiela: Replica Fragrances

Maison Margiela Replica Fragrances Review Lipstick On, Beach Walk, Lazy Sunday Morning, Untitled
Today I'm really excited to introduce you all to Maison Margiela, a couture fashion and design house with roots in Belgium, currently headed by John Galliano...they have recently launched a really lovely line of fragrances called 'Replica', which can be found at Sephora, Nordstrom & Barney's, among other retailers. I recently stopped by my local Sephora to check them out, and ordered a couple other items, untested and unseen, from Barney's. I've put together a little introduction and preview for each scent, and I will have full reviews with accompanying photo essays coming this week! I hope you like it :) xx

Diptyque Rosaviola Review | Spring 2016 LE

Diptyque Rosaviola Review Valentine's February Olypia Le-Tan Limited Edition Candle
Chanel Chance eau Tendre // Diptyque Rosavolia (standard, mini) // YSL Rouge Volupte Shine 12, 14, 8 // Dior Le Vernis in Diablotine & Lilac // Coach Zip Pochette (here, here & here)
For Spring, according to tradition, Diptyque has released a limited edition collection offering a fresh take on Rose. Last year, the scent released as Rosafolia, which Sabrina of The Beauty Lookbook reviewed and described as a fresh, green-tinged rose. This year, Diptyque collaboarated with French designer Olympia Le-Tan to create Rosaviola (The Beauty Lookbook review here), and it is amazing. I plan to buy multiple backups.  The Diptyque x Olympia Le-Tan collection also includes a Rosaviola scented oval, an 'Eau Rose' hand cream, and an 'Eau Rose' Eau de Toilette in a 3.4 oz. size and a mini rollerball size

Diptyque Mimosa

Most people probably think of the bubbly, fruity cocktail upon hearing the word 'Mimosa' (Google Images definitely does!), but did you know that Mimosa actually refers first and foremost to spherical, pom-pom-like, yellow flowers (more technically known as Acacia blossoms)?
