Herbal Chai Tea Latte

Herbal Chai Tea Latte Recipe for Mormons Word of Wisdom

Chai lattes have been an obsession of mine ever since I had my first sometime in high school, from Starbucks of course. Ever since I became a Mormon, I've been on a quest to recreate my beloved Chai latte using an herbal chai blend instead of a traditional black tea-based chai (Mormons don't drink true teas or coffee). For anyone else craving a sweet, spicy, incredibly delicious, herbal chai latte, I thought I'd share some of my favourite herbal chai blends as well as my herbal chai concentrate recipe that you can make ahead and use throughout the week to whip up a quick iced or hot chai latte at a moment's notice!

Soho Eats: Egg Shop, Ceci-Cela & The Butcher's Daughter

Egg Shop NYC review

It's a very well known fact that SoHo is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in New York City, and where beauty goes, food follows. I just coined that phrase, and it's 100% true. Anyway, SoHo is chock full of perfect little cafes, bistros and various other sorts of eateries, serving an incredibly eclectic array of delicious fare from almost every corner of the earth imaginable. When my friends and I were there recently, we stopped off at a few choice spots, so of course I thought I'd be nice and share them with you!

Cascabel Taqueria & The Met

When the sun finally shines in New York City, it's time to sit outside! When we got to Cascabel Taqueria, no one else had quite figured this out yet, so Molly and I snagged the sunniest table of the lot and chatted away while we waited to order.

Bello Bellagio

Bellagio is a tiny town that cascades from higher mountainous areas directly down to the edge of Lago di Como. It is known as the Pearl of Lake Como, for reasons that are obvious...it has been renowned for its incredibly beauty since Roman times! It's the perfect day trip if you're staying in one of the famed hotels in the larger nearby town of Como, and it is easily accessible by the ferry network connecting towns on the lake or by rented motor boat!

Over the summer, my aunt really generously took me around to a lot of her favorite places to shop for the freshest, highest quality ingredients for various types of cuisine.
