Everlane Relaxed Silk Shirt | Review

Everlane's Relaxed Silk Shirt ($98) has been around for awhile, but I figured I'd re-review it since recently several new colors were released! I picked one up in the Burgundy / Bone combo in size 00, and it is fast becoming my favorite shirt in my closet. My outfit details are linked below and at the end of the post as well!

For reference I am 5'2" and about 100 lbs. For my original review of the Relaxed Silk Shirt, see here.

It's interesting to see how my tastes change over time, because initially, I preferred the more fitted profile of the slim silk shirt to the more generous one of the Relaxed version, but now I feel just the opposite!

The 00 size fits me perfectly - it is not overly baggy at all, but gives a very chic, effortless, "relaxed" and undone look to any outfit that I incorporate it into. I love tucking the front of the shirt into my waistband and leaving the tail hanging out to give some definition to my waist while maintaining the breezy, effortless look.

The Burgundy / Bone stripe combo is what makes this shirt perfection for me...it's a little unexpected, but its incredibly elegant looking while also having an element of fun. Best of all, it feel very appropriate for fall and winter, and I think it will look especially pretty layered underneath sweaters as well as on its own under a blazer or jacket! Solid wardrobe basic that I'm glad to have on hand - big thumbs up!
