Everlane Suede Heel Boot

I'm back with a review of Everlane's Suede Heel Boot ($225) today, and I suggest that you run, not walk, to their website to treat yo'self to one rn. The Suede Heel Boot is, as its name so subtly hints, a suede version of Everlane's Heel Boot, which has by far been the MVP of my fall/winter shoe collection this year...

And now that Everlane has released the same design in three gorgeous neutral hues of suede, I can enjoy my MVP into spring, on through summer and back into fall in an seasonally on point fashion.

I picked up the Suede Heel Boot in Chestnut, and Everlane sent me a pair in Taupe Gray as well. I took my normal size (6), and they fit very comfortably. Someone asked me if the Brixton Boots stretch to accommodate slightly wider feet, so I'm going to say right now that all of Everlane's shoes in my experience, due to their high quality leather, have comfortably stretched to mould to my feet (which are slightly wider at the toe box).

I regularly wear my Heel Boots for long stints of walking because they are so comfortable...I recently wore them to Disneyland where I walked in them for 12+ hours for two days in a row. And I ended up becoming kind of annoyed when family members commented on my shoes and insinuated I was sacrificing comfort by "trying to be fashionable", because in reality I was doing nothing of the sort. Yes, the Heel Boot looks pretty dang sexy with its 2" heel, but that same heel makes walking long-distances extremely comfortable. Are you starting to see why these have been my MVP for the last several months?

The Suede Heel Boot in Taupe Gray is my favourite of the lot...it's the perfect monochromatic, minimalist neutral, and the stacked wood heel pops a little bit due to the difference in colour.

I love the effect of pairing this with whites and cool greys for wintery days and the spring transition. Once it gets warm, these will look super cute with skinny jeans, culottes or skirts in summer. And of course, suede has an amazing texture for fall, so there you go - basically an all season shoe that's perfect for all my fellow monochrome-obsessed peeps out there.

The Suede Heel Boot in Chestnut is also gorgeous and highly versatile - but given my partiality to cool, desaturated, monochromatic tones, it falls to second place with me. Again, I think this is a perfect shoe to wear through the rest of the winter and on through spring transition. In summer, I can see these being paired with everything from skinny jeans to booty shorts, and come fall, they'll be a welcome style choice in any wardrobe. So pretty much you can't go wrong with this.

Bottom line, huge thumbs up. The 2" heel really is utter and complete perfection. The Heel Boot in general is just so freaking attractive and sexy but equally comfortable due to the choice in heel height and the wider heel shape. The Suede version, with its gorgeously textured leather and perfect hues that I'm low key obsessed with, gives me even more styling options, which I am extremely grateful for :D

Many thanks to Everlane for providing the Suede Heel Boot for consideration and review. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own!
