Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme | Swatches & Review

Le Marc Lip Creme ($30.00 for 0.12 oz) is Marc Jacobs fullest coverage lipstick formula. On another swatching trip to Sephora, I took it upon myself to conduct a swatchathon on these, as I've been curious about the formula for awhile but have never gotten around to trying it out.

10 Neutral Nail Polishes to Try This Spring

Welp, sprang has sprung u guyz. I'm thinking of starting every post from now on with some variant of "Welp...u guyz," I think it would really work well for me. Anyway, I've been itching to ditch my moody neutrals and vampy darks for awhile now for some light and fresh polishes. I've been loving neutrals lately, so I figured I'd put together a post of a few neutral beiges, greys and sparklys that I've been wearing on my nails lately!

So, here I go with another series launch. Clearly this is becoming my thing as of late...but anyway, allow me to introduce 'Beauty Bulletin', my once or twice monthly digest of all things new and wonderful in the realm of beauty. Here's everything that's caught my eye recently...

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-in-Stick, New for Spring 2016 | Swatches & Review

There's been a lot of buzz around YSL's Spring 2016 launch of a formula called YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-in-Stick ($37.00 for 0.15 oz. | Nordstrom, YSL). But 1) it's been really difficult to find, and 2) I couldn't quite figure out whether it's the same thing as YSL Rouge Volupte Shine (RVS) or if it's a different formula. All my scouting online told me that it's supposed to be a new formula that is in between the pigmentation of RVS (swatched here) and RVSC (swatched here), but when I finally found it at the YSL counter in Neiman's, the S.A. told me that it's the same exact thing as the RVS formula just with a new name.

NEW! Dior Addict Ultra Gloss: Nude, Tell Me Dior, Cruise, Paradise, Pearl, Fantaisie, Spring Ball, Reflected, Cosmic, Everdior | Swatches & Review

Welp, these were seemingly impossible to find, but I finally succeeded! Dior just lauched its re-formulated Dior Addict Ultra Glosses ($30 for 0.21 oz. | Sephora, Nordstrom), and they are delicious. It's supposed to be a do-everything gloss which plumps, lusterizes (not a word, I know) and hydrates all at the same time. It comes in three different finishes: Watery effect, which is no shimmer and provides a glossy, watery, fresh effect; Iridescent effect, which has very fine microshimmer and provides subtle luminosity from the reflective particles to the lips; and Sparkling effect, which has gorgeous, Dior sparkle bits throughout and gives a sparkly, bombshell glossy look. Alrighty then, here are lip and arm swatches of a little more than half the shades. Part 2 of the swatches is here!! Also check out the three Vernis nail polish shades that were released along with this collection here!

Chanel Eyes Speak Volumes Collection | Swatches & Review

Chanel released a new collection featuring gorgeous images of Kristen Stewart photographed by Mario Testino called 'Eyes Speak Volumes'. It's meant to be (rather obviously) a collection of products to highlight and emphasize our eyes - the windows into our souls. Anyway, here are swatches of the eyeshadows in the collection!! Enjoy!

Marc Jacobs Style Eye-Con No. 7 Plush Eyeshadow Palettes | Swatches & Review

Well, you guys, I've been kind of busy this week with some stuff I've been doing around the house, like re-painting the living room, re-finishing my grandmother's midcentury modern credenza and re-arranging the living room - just generally turning my apartment upside down a bit. Sooo I have been lagging a bit on posting and have sadly did not do a Foundation Friday post. BUT hopefully you'll forgive me when you see these swatches of the completely bomb Marc Jacobs Style Eye-Con No. 7 eyeshadow palettes ($59.00)...

Everlane GoWeave Cropped Trouser & Track Pant | Review

I have to confess that I've never actually tried any of Everlane's pants before, mostly because being a petite and thin person, most pants tend to look horrible on me. But with the release of the new GoWeave Cropped Trouser and GoWeave Track Pant, I figured I'd give 'em a go, and my results were mixed...

Maison Martin Margiela Untitled | Review

Maison Martin Margiela's flagship fragrance - the one that launched them all -  is called 'Untitled' ($105 for 1.7 oz. | Barneys & Saks) in a conscious effort not to categorize or assign meaning, while instead giving the wearer a blank canvas from which to experience the scent for herself, devoid of expectations or preconceived notions, as she embarks upon her distinct olfactory journey.

Everlane Square Silk Shirt in White-Grey | Review

Everlane recently launched a new silk blouse design: the Square Silk Shirt ($88). It comes in four colours: blacknavypink and white-grey, and it is sized using a numerical system instead of the xxs-xxl system that Everlane was previously using. Today I'm reviewing the White-Grey version of this shirt - you can find my review of the Black version of this shirt here. See my other reviews of Everlane silk here!

Dior Diorskin Nude Air Serum Foundation, SPF 20 | Swatches & Review

Dior Diorskin Nude Air Serum Foundation, SPF 20 ($53 for 1.0 oz. | Sephora, Nordstrom) is described as a "weightless, ultra-fluid, foundation serum that creates a nude makeup look...for a radiant sheer finish". I was expecting this foundation to have just ok lasting power and oil control, so I was completely blown away when it outperformed one of my favourite lightweight foundations in every category.

Dior Addict Vernis in Cosmic, Cruise & Ultradior | Swatches & Review

At part of its Spring 2016 release of the brand new Dior Addict Ultra Gloss formula ($30 for 0.21 oz. | Sephora, Nordstrom | Swatches here), Dior released 3 new 'Dior Addict' Vernis nail polishes ($27 for 0.33 oz.), which I serendipitously stumbled upon while browsing on Nordstrom's website. There is one polish to represent each different 'finish' of the new Dior Ultra Glosses. These polishes are beautiful, but there's one in particular that I love so much I want to bathe in it...totally normal impulse, I know. Swatches and photos after the jump!

YSL Rouge Volupte Sheer Candy | Swatches & Review

YSL Rouge Volupte Sheer Candy ($37 for 0.14 oz | Sephora, Nordstrom) is described as "glossy balm crystal colour", which I actually think is pretty accurate. These are lightweight, sheer to semi-sheer, glossy, translucent lipsticks which have the consistency of a lip balm. They are not as moisturizing as a lip balm, although they are more moisturizing than many other lipsticks. And they impart a beautiful, translucent wash of colour to the lips which really brightens the face and gives a fresh, dewy look. Swatches after the jump!

YSL Fusion Ink Foundation, SPF 18 | Swatches, Review, Photos

Soo, I am informally starting a weekly series: Foundation Friday, in which I will (fairly obviously) share a foundation review on (you guessed it) Fridays. Today I bring you YSL's Fusion Ink Foundation, SPF 18 ($60 for 0.84 oz. | Sephora, Nordstrom), which is a thin, liquidy, serum consistency that purports to offer a soft matte finish and 24 hour wear. Review, swatches & photos after the jump!

Natasha Denona Eyeshadows | Swatches & Review

Natasha Denona eyeshadows have been making quite a splash in the blogosphere lately as Beautylish has been promoting them hard to drum up excitement for their exclusive launch of the European brand. You can read all the marketing hype about them on Beautylish, which has claimed that they are the "best eyeshadows in the world" at one point. I spent a significant amount of time scouring the internet for swatches of all manner to try and decide which shades I wanted to buy, and I ended up picking up the 5-pan Palette #8 along with six singles. Swatches & review after the jump!

Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk | Review

Maison Margiela's Replica Beach Walk ($25 for 0.34 oz. $125 for 3.4 oz.) fragrance immediately captured me when I first tried it after receiving a sample of it in a Sephora order. I eventually purchased a rollerball size of the fragrance as well as the candle ($60 for 5.82 oz.; Sephora, Nordstrom)I was taken aback by how well Beach Walk truly actually captured the scent memory of a day at the beach...to me, Beach Walk smells like an irresistible blend of skin that's been slathered in coconut scented sunscreen or suntan lotion.

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain | Swatches & Review

Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stains ($36 for 0.22 oz.) have been around for several years now, but I'm just now discovering them. And it is love. YSL says that these offer the coverage of a lipstick, the wear of a stain and the shine of a gloss all in one with a lightweight formula that immediately melts onto your lips, delivering intense glossy colour and extremely long lasting shine.
